Government job seekers blocked the Shahbagh intersection in the capital on Sunday, demanding eight point demands including the reformation of Public Service Commission (PSC).

Hundreds of job seekers marched from Dhaka University's Raju Sculpture to Shahbagh. Later, they took positions at Shahbagh intersection around 6:30 PM.

Confirming the matter, Shahbagh Police Station officer-in-charge Khalid Mansur said that the students blocked the intersection to press home their eight point demand.

Traffic is halted due to the students' blockade, he said, adding that they were trying to normalise traffic by discussing with the students.
