Man killed in Pabna train accident

A 70-year-old man was killed in a train accident in Pabna's Chatmohar upazila on Sunday.

The accident took place around 8:30 PM at Jogtola village in the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Sagir Pramanik, 70, son late Khorjan Pramanik, a resident of Jogtola Purbapara village in the same upazila.

According to locals, Sagir has been ill from both physically and mentally. He used to walk beside the railway track every day. A Dhaka bound Banalata Express train hit him while he was walking beside the railway track, leaving him dead on the spot.

Mulgram ward no-p union parishad member Hossain Manik confirmed the matter.
