The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast temporary gusty winds, thunderstorms, and rain across various regions of the country.
In a weather bulletin issued on Sunday, the department predicted gusty winds along with lightning and thundershowers in parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
Daytime temperatures across the country are expected to decrease by 2°C to 3°C, with a slight drop in nighttime temperatures as well.
The forecast also noted that a low-pressure area extending from West Bengal across the southwestern part of Bangladesh to the North Bay of Bengal is contributing to the expected weather conditions.
