First hajj flight to leave Dhaka on Tuesday

The first hajj flight from Bangladesh will leave Dhaka on Tuesday (April 29) with 419 pilgrims after Religious affairs adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain inaugurated it officially on that day.

A total of 87,100 Bangladeshi pilgrims will perform hajj this year. Of them, 81,900 have registered through private agencies.

Around 2:15AM, the first flight will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Saudi Arabia. To ensure smooth hajj management, 112 people have been deploted at the government level, while 1,743 guides at the private level.
