Rangamati accident death toll rises to 6

The death toll from Rangamati pickup van and autorickshaw accident rose to six as injured one also succumbed to his injury.

The accident occurred around 10:15AM at Rabar Bagan area after the pickup van smashed the CNG-run. Three died on the spot.

Later injured other three also succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at J.K. Memorial Hospital, according to Md Saiful Islam, chief of Kawkhali Police Station.

Three of the deceased were identified as Abu Tobab, 50, Nurun Nahar, 40, and Mahbubur Rahman Bachchu, 50.
