Police beat Wanderers in BPL

Bangladesh Police Football Club edged past Dhaka Wanderers Club by a solitary goal in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football held at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh today (Friday).

After the barren first half, Uzbek midfielder Jakhongir Qurbonboyev scored the all-important goal for Police in the
84th minute of the match.
Dhaka Wanderers, however, tried their best to stage a fight back in the match but they failed to score any in the remaining proceeding.

The day's win saw, police moved up to the fourth position in the league table with 19 points from 12 matches while Dhaka Wanderers Club, who are struggling to skip relegation in the league, remained at their previous collection of four points playing the same number of outings.

Earlier, in the first leg, police drubbed Dhaka Wanderers by 4-0 held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur. �"BSS
