Local Government, Rural development, and Cooperatives Ministry Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain took part in the written test for admission to the master's programme at North South University (NSU) in Dhaka on Friday.
Asif Mahumud, also the Adviser for the Youth and Sports Ministry, appeared at the admission test for 2025 academic session of the 'Executive Masters in Policy and Governance' (EMPG) programme under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the university.
Confirming the matter, the programme director Professor M Aminul Islam said that the admission test was held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday.
A student named Asif Mahmud took part in the examination. Later, we came to know that he is an advisor to the ministry, he said.
The results of the admission test would be published in the next one to two days, he said, adding that those who qualify would be eligible for admission.
