Legal notice seeks action against Tasnim, Jahangir

A legal notice was sent to the authorities concerned of the government, seeking action against National Citizen Party (NCP) Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr Tasnim Jara for allegedly spreading obscenity.

The legal notice also sought action against Dr Jahangir Kabir who is known for his unconventional treatment style.

Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Mohammad Humayun Kabir Pallab sent the legal notice on Thursday.

Besides, the notice also called for strict punitive action against individuals allegedly involved in spreading vulgar on social media, specifically naming Dr. Jahangir Kabir, Dr. Tasnim Zara and others.

The legal notice demanded the prompt shutdown of all websites, links and digital gateways that host or promote vulgar videos, advertisements and online campaigns, emphasizing the need to protect public decency on digital platforms.
