Pedestrian killed being hit by truck in Bogura

A pedestrian was killed after being run over by a truck in Bogura's Sadar upazila on Thursday.

The accident occurred in Charmatha area under ​​the upazila in the evening.
The dead Tara Mia, 53, was a resident of Nishindara Madhyapara area under ​​Bogura Sadar Upazila.

According to police and locals, a truck ran over him while he was crossing the road in Charmatha area around 6:30 pm, leaving him seriously injured. Local people rescued him and took to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 7 pm.

Chilimpur Medical Outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector Lalon Hossain said that the body has been kept in the hospital morgue.
