Man held with foreign liquor in Ctg

Police arrested a man along with 168 liters of foreign liquor from EPZ Police Station area in Chattogram city.

He was arrested from Akmal Ali Beribandh Switch Gate area under EPZ police station on Wednesday.

The arrested man is Md Sabuj Mia, 45. A microbus used to transport drugs was also seized.

Confirming the matter, EPZ Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman said that the arrested accused used to collect foreign liquor and sell it to different bars in Chattogram city.

Efforts are on to find out from whom he bought the liquor and he has been sent to jail by the court, added the OC.
