Watchman killed being hit by truck in Jhenidah

A watchman was killed after being hit by a truck in Jhenidah district on Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 5:30 am in the town's Hamdah Alhera More area.
The dead Badal Molla, 23, son of Mokshed Ali of Chhota Kamarkundu Uttar Para village under Jhenidah Sadar upazila. He worked as a night watchman in Alhera More area.

Locals said that Badal Molla was standing by the road while on duty in the early morning. At that time, a truck heading from Kaliganj to Jhenidah town lost control and ran over him. Badal Molla died on the spot.

Jhenidah Sadar Police Station OC Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed it.
