Play was set to resume at 1:00 PM local time (12:30 PM IST) in Sylhet after a frustrating washout of the morning session. As per the revised schedule, tea will be taken at 3:20 PM, with the day’s play extended until 6:00 PM to make up for the lost overs. The outfield has dried up well, and the pitch appears ready, setting the stage for a productive and potentially thrilling post-lunch session.
