3-Day Boishakhi folk theatre festival kicks off in Munshiganj

A three-day long Boishakhi Folk Theatre Festival has begun in Munshiganj Shilpakala Academy on Sunday.

The event was organized by District Shilpakala Academy with support from District Administration.

Arranged by Drama and Film Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, this folk theatre festival will continue until April 22.

Every evening, performances will take place at courtyard of District Shilpakala Academy.

On April 21 at 5 PM, there will be an acrobatic show in the academy premises.

On the opening day of the event, notable attendees included Md. Ershad Hasan, Cultural Officer of District Shilpakala Academy; Jahangir Alam Dhali, President of District Combined Cultural Alliance; Senior Vice President Mozammel Hossain Sajal; Vice President Gobinda Chandra Mondal; former General Secretary of Cultural Alliance Advocate Saiful Alam Swapon Khoka and Baul Jahangir, among others.
