'Jubo Dal man' injured by bullet at Hatirjheel

A young man sustained bullet injuries after being shot by unidentified assailants in the capital's Hatirjheel area early Sunday.

The victim is Arif Sardar, 35, is a member of the Ward-36 unit of Jubo Dal.

Hatirjheel Police Station OC Mohammad Razu said they heard the sound of bullet at an early hours.
According to passerby Jewel Miah, he found Arif lying in a pool of blood when crossing Hatirjheel with his motorcycle. Later Arif was taken to the hospital by a CNG-run autorickshaw.

Arif Sardar hails from Hogla Balikandi village in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur district and currently resides at a rented house in Demra Staff Quarters.
