Youth killed in Bagerhat road crash

A 20-year-old youth was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Bagerhat's Pirojpur upazila on Saturday.

The accident took place on Bagerhat-Pirojpur Highway at Sahabari Pul area in the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Siyam Gazi, son of Mojibar Rahman Gazi, a resident of the same village in the district.

According to locals, a battery-run easybike collided head-on with a speedy bus, leaving the easybike passenger Siyam dead and two others injured on the spot.

Being informed, Mahishpura Police Camp in-charge Tamij Uddin said that a team fo police recovered the body and handed it over to the deceased's family member.
