Police recovered the half-decomposed body of a local BNP leader from Notabari village of Baraigram upazila in Natore on Saturday.

The deceased, Aynal Hossain, 45, son of late Abdul Jalil, a resident of the same village in the upazila, is the publicity secretary of Majhgaon union’s ward no-4 unit Jubo Dal.
Confirming the matter, Baraigram Police Station officer-in-charge Mahbubur Rahman said that Aynal used to reside at the home of his residence alone. Locals found his half-decomposed body at his room and informed police.

Being informed, a team of police recovered the body and sent it to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination, the police official said.

The main reason behind the death of Aynal could be ascertained after getting the post-mortem report, the OC said, adding that they were looking into the matter.
