A bus belonging to 'Ajmeri Glory Paribahan' suddenly got stuck at Moghbazar rail crossing in the capital while crossing the tracks on Friday night.

A video of the incident was circulated in social media where some passengers were found jumping down from the bus in fear.

The bus was found going towards Moghbazar from FDC-Hatirjheel crossing. Suddenly it got stuck on the rail line. The driver tried, but could not move it forward or backward.

At that time, a north-bound train started arriving from Dhaka station. But the gate-keeper was unable to give the barrier as the bus was stuck. He was then trying to warn everyone by blowing a whistle. Some passengers were jumping down from the bus in fear.

The bus driver somehow managed to pull the bus back a little, saving the passengers' lives on the bus.

A few seconds later, the north-bound train crossed the rail line.
