The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 recovered a significant quantity of smuggled phensedyl during a raid in Dinajpur’s Kotwali area on Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 of RAB-13, based at the Dinajpur Camp, carried out an operation at a residence in Naduhar Paschimpara village under Kotwali police station. The raid, conducted at around 3:25 PM, led to the seizure of 373 bottles of phensedyl, according to a RAB press release issued Friday evening.

However, the primary suspect, Md Saju Miah, 22, son of Md Khademul and resident of the house, fled the scene upon sensing the presence of the RAB team.

The confiscated drugs have been handed over to Dinajpur Kotwali police station. A drug-related case has been filed against the absconding suspect, and legal proceedings are underway.
