Pahartali Textiles Ltd (PTL), based in Chattogram, has completed the modernization of its Unit-2 under the BMRE (Balancing, Modernization, Rehabilitation, and Expansion) programme to enhance production capacity and efficiency.
As part of the upgrade, a new 142,000-square-foot, two-storied factory building was constructed, and world-class spinning machinery was installed. The upgraded unit was officially inaugurated oby Mirza Salman Ispahani, Chairman of Ispahani Group on Monday, says a press release.
Mirza Shakir Ispahani, Managing Director of Ispahani Group, Mahbubul Alam, COO of Pahartali Textiles Limited (PTL), along with other senior officials of the organization, were also present at the ceremony.
This new unit of Pahartali Textiles Limited is working toward achieving LEED Platinum certification, which recognizes environmentally friendly construction and sustainable operations. With cutting-edge technology, the unit has seen a significant increase in spindle capacity and a major enhancement in automation capabilities. As a result, Pahartali Textiles Limited is now better equipped to produce high-quality products with greater speed and efficiency.
