The Zimbabwe national cricket team arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday for their two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
They touched down in the capital and will stay overnight before travelling to Sylhet on Wednesday morning.
The first Test will be at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on April 20. Later, the teams will move to Chattogram for the second and final Test, which will commence on April 28 at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium formerly known as Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Zimbabwe brought an experienced Test side, with the return of key players Sean Williams and Craig Ervine.
Wellington Masakadza has also been included in the squad for this Test series as he will play a Test series in Bangladesh after four years.
They also brought back wicketkeeper-batter Tafadzwa Tsiga, who last played a Test match two years ago against the West Indies.
The last time Bangladesh and Zimbabwe played Test was in February 2020 in Mirpur where the host won easily by an innings and 106 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim scored a brilliant, unbeaten double century in that game.
