Dear Sir,
The primary mode of transportation for students at the University of Chittagong is the shuttle train. Every day, thousands of students rely on this train to attend their classes. Unfortunately, the train schedule is now regularly ignored-it often departs earlier than scheduled, or arrives unnecessarily late. As a result, students frequently miss classes, face mental stress, and lose valuable time.
At times, the train halts midway for no valid reason, further prolonging the inconvenience. Due to a weak engine, the train runs at a slow pace; hence, a more powerful engine is urgently needed. Moreover, during the summer, the lack of fans inside the train compartments makes it unbearable-especially when the train is crowded, the discomfort increases significantly.
As a solution, it is essential to strictly follow the schedule, increase the number of trains and compartments, install fans in every coach, and introduce a technology-based monitoring system. To ensure smooth and comfortable travel for students, the shuttle train service must become more responsible, punctual, and service-oriented.
