Premier Bank appoints Amalendu Roy as DMD 

Amalendu Roy, has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of The Premier Bank PLC. Prior to this joining, Amalendu served as DMD and Head of Corporate Branch and Head of ICCD of United Commercial Bank PLC.

Amalendu is a veteran banker with 28 years of professional experience in the banking industry in diverse capacities, spanning mainly over Branch Banking as Manager. He started his career in Uttara Bank PLC as Probationary Officer in 1996. Later, he joined National Bank PLC followed by United Commercial Bank PLC.

Amalendu completed his Post-Graduation from the University of Dhaka.
