The Bangladesh national hockey team had landed in Jakarta, Indonesia to play and defend the title of AHF Cup.
The much-anticipated AHF Cup Hockey Tournament is set to kick off this Thursday.
The team led by Pushkar Khisa Mimo reached the tournament city around 10:30 AM Bangladesh time.
In the meantime, the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) highlighted the team's departure from Dhaka with a featured post on its official Facebook page, with a picture of the complete squad.
Bangladesh entered the tournament as the reigning champions, having clinched the title in each of the last five editions. This year, Bangladesh is placed in Group B, alongside Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and host nation Indonesia.
Despite not playing any warm-up matches, Bangladesh is set to begin its campaign on 18 April against Kazakhstan, with high hopes of continuing the dominance in the tournament and bringing home the title once again.
