Village doctor found dead in Jashore

Police recovered the body of a village doctor from near a brick kiln in Jashore’s Sharsha upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Jamal Hossain, son of Ayub Ali, a resident of Kadpur village under Kalaroa upazila in Satkhira district.
Confirming the matter, Sharsha Police Station officer-in-charge Rabiul Islam said that locals spotted the body lying on the land and informed of police.

Being informed, a team of police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination.

The reason behind the death would be ascertained after getting the post-mortem reports.

Police also recovered a motorcycle, two pairs of sandals and some pieces of woods.

Police were looking into the matter, the OC said, adding that legal action would be taken against those found involved.
