Independence Day Hockey by Ostad Fazlu's academy held

The Independence Day Hockey Tournament 2025, organised by the Ostad Fazlu Hockey Academy, concluded with great success, offering excitement, and showcasing remarkable talent.

In a nail-biting finish in the final, Team Safin Hockey Five claimed the title with a narrow 4-3 victory over Team Tuhin hockey five.

A total of four teams participated in event, designed as a knockout competition in the first stage. The top two teams advanced to the much-anticipated final.

The Independence Day Hockey was a thrilling celebration of sport and independence altogether.

The tournament was graced by the advisor of Ostad Fazlu Hockey Academy Kamrul Islam Kismat as the Chief Guest.

The former treasurer of Bangladesh Hockey Haji Manowar was a Guest of Honour.

Additionally, Azziulullah Haider Jamal, an Asian hockey star and the head coach of the academy presided over the award programme. photo: Observer
