A 30-years old man was killed in a road accident in Dinajpur's Nawabganj upazila on Wednesday night.
The accident took place around 10:30 PM at Darkamari area in the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Shuvo Murmu, son of Shimon Murmu, a resident of Paharpur Adivasi Para of the upazila.
According to locals, Shuvo was riding a motorcycle. He, at one point, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree by the roadside, leaving him injured on the spot.
Locals rescued him from the spot and took him to Nawabganj Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Confirming the matter,Aftabganj Police Investigation Center in-charge Inspector Sirajul Islam said that the police recovered Shuvo's body and handed it over to his family.
