National football team returns home today

Bangladesh national football team is expected to return home on Wednesday after playing out a goalless draw against India in the Asian Cup Qualifiers held in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong.

The booters have already left Shillong early this morning for Gawahati to catch a flight for Kolkata. After staying two and a half hours in Kolkata, the team is supposed to land in Dhaka at around 5pm.

Despite dominating the proceedings in Tuesday's match on Indian soil, Bangladesh had to settle for a draw against the hosts. Bangladesh will play their home match against Singapore on June 10. �"BSS
