Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) celebrated the 55rd Independence and National Day of Bangladesh through various programmes.
CVASU Director (Outdoor Activities) and Vice-Chancellor (Routine Duties) Prof. Dr. AKM Saifuddin paid homage to the martyrs of 1971 Liberation War by placing a wreath at Shaheed Minar of the university campus on Wednesday morning, according to a press release.
Later, CVASU Officers' Association and Employees Union paid homage to the martyrs of 1971 Liberation War by placing flowers at the Shaheed Minar.
Among others, CVASU Veterinary Medicine Faculty Dean Prof. Gautam Kumar Debnath, Food Science and Technology Faculty Dean (Acting) Prof. Dr. Shirin Akhter, One Health Institute Director Prof. Dr. Md. Ahsanul Haque, Registrar Mirza Faruque Imam, Bijoy 2024 Hall Provost Prof. Shahnaz Sultana, Director (Veterinary Clinics) Prof. Dr. Bhajan Chandra Das, Director (Planning and Development) Prof. Md. A Halim, Proctor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman and Chief Engineer Achinta Kumar Chakraborty along with teachers, officers and employees of the university, were present on the occasion.
