Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) celebrated the 55rd Independence and National Day of Bangladesh through various programs.
Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) member (A&P) and Acting Chairman Md Habibur Rahman paid homage to the martyrs of 1971 by placing a wreath at Shaheed Mausoleum on premises of Port Republic Club on Wednesday morning, reads a press release.
Later, special prayers were offered at all religious institutions, worship places, temples and Buddhist monasteries of Chattogram Port Authority (CPA). Then special food distribution was arranged for the patients at port hospital.
On the occasion of the Independence Day, essay writing and painting competitions were organized in different educational institutions of the port.
Among others, Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) all members and all departmental heads, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, all the officers and employees of the port were present on the occasion.
