On Tuesday, Judge Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun of Dhaka's Special Judge Court-5 delivered the verdict, citing a lack of evidence. The case, filed on January 7, 2008, during the caretaker government's tenure, accused Bulu, his wife Shamima Akter, and son Omar Sharif Md. Imran of amassing illegal wealth worth Tk 48.96 crore.
