Army hosts Iftar, dinner in honour of students injured in July Uprising

Bangladesh Army on Sunday hosted an iftar and dinner party at Sena Malancha in Dhaka Cantonment in honour of the students injured during the July uprising.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman exchanged greetings with the injured students and inquired about their well-being during the event.

The gathering was attended by the injured students, senior army officers, prominent civilians, and directors of various government hospitals.

Later, the Bangladesh Army presented Eid gifts to the students.

To date, 4,215 people injured in the July Uprising have received medical care at various Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs) across the country, with 989 undergoing successful surgeries.

Currently, 39 injured are receiving treatment at CMH in Dhaka. �"UNB
