The government has directed relevant departments to take strict action against officials and employees involved in corruption, based on intelligence reports.
According to a letter issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on March 20, the directive follows decisions made in the second meeting of the Public Administration Committee.
The anti-corruption initiative will be overseen by a committee led by Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed.
The letter, signed by Deputy Secretary Jamila Shabnam, underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing transparency and accountability within public offices.
Authorities have been instructed to identify and take necessary measures against corrupt officials, ensuring that disciplinary actions are enforced as per legal procedures.
This move reflects the administration's ongoing efforts to strengthen good governance and eradicate corruption from public institutions.
