Plan of rehabilitation of AL will be suppressed with firm hands: Nahid

National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam on Saturday said that plan of rehabilitation of the Awami League will be suppressed with firm hands.

He made the comment while speaking at an Iftar and prayer mahfil organized by Lalbagh Thana NCP at the Kara Convention Centre at Bakshibazar in the capital.
Nahid said this new political party was created as a result of a mass uprising. Awami League became fascist because of One-Eleven. Bangladesh will never be allowed to bring back One-Eleven again. Trail of Awami League and its accomplices involved in the July killings will be ensured in this soil.

"No military intervention will be accepted in this regard," he added.

Nahid said, the administration was partyized during the then ousted Awami League regime. They have used that administration against the people.

He said, "The people are the owners of the state, preparation are being made to ensure their ownership to the state."

Nahid urged the government to take action against those who are still the accomplices of fascism in different parts of the state.
