Counterfeit currency surge during Eid must be stopped

Dear Sir,

Although the Eid festival is a time of joy and excitement in our national life, it is also when various unscrupulous groups become active. One of the most notorious among them is the counterfeit currency syndicate. Every year, during Eid, the pressure of shopping increases significantly in the markets, leading to a surge in cash transactions. Taking advantage of this, counterfeit currency notes begin to circulate in the market. Often, people unknowingly receive counterfeit notes and fall into trouble, and ultimately, the burden falls on innocent citizens.

To overcome this situation, strict monitoring before and after Eid, raising public awareness, and the use of modern technology are extremely important. At the same time, there should be increased monitoring of markets, shopping centers, and banks to ensure that people can easily learn how to identify counterfeit notes and immediately inform the concerned authorities if necessary. Strict punishment for those involved in such activities and increased vigilance by law enforcement agencies can also prove effective in combating this crime.

I sincerely hope that the concerned authorities will take this matter seriously and adopt prompt and effective measures.
