Man held with arms in Khulna

Police arrested a suspected criminal along with arms and ammunition from Goalkhali in Khulna Metropolitan early Saturday.

The arrested was identified as Hasan Hawlader, a resident of the same area in the metropolitan.

KMP Deputy Police Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammad Atiqur Rahman confirmed the matter in a press conference held at KMP's headquarter in the morning.

According to Abul Bashar Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, a team of police, acting on a tip off, conducted a drive in the area and arrested him.

Police also recovered a 4 rounds bullets laden pistol, 13 rounds of cartridges, and 11 rounds of bullets for shot gun from his possession.

He was accused in a case filed with Digholia Police Station.
