Army official killed in Natore road crash

An army official was killed and six others injured in as a passengers laden bus fell on a road side ditch in Natore's Gurudaspur upazila on Friday.

The accident took place around 2:30 PM on Bonpara-Hatikumrul Highway near Bridge no-10 area in the upazila.
The deceased, Al-Mamun, son of Oshim Uddin, a resident of Borobaria village under sadar upazila in the district, is an Army official.

Confirming the matter, Bonpara Highway police officer-in-charge Ishmail Hossain said that a Dhaka bound speedy bus crashed into a speedy truck, resulting the bus fell into a road side ditch. That left the Army official killed and six others injured.

Being informed, a team of Highway police rescued the injured with the assistance of locals and took them to Gurudaspur Upazila Health Complex for treatment.
