Woman held with hemp, local arms in Pabna

Police arrested a woman along with huge drugs and locally made arms at Chatmohar upazila in Pabna district.

The arrested woman is Rubi Khatun, from Mirzapur village under Nimaichora union in the upazila.

According to police sources, being tipped-off, a team of police conducted a raid at Mirzapur village under nimaichora union in the upazila and arrested Rubi from her house.

During the raid police also recovered six kilograms of hemp, two machates, two sharp knives from her possession.

Chatmohar Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Monzurul Alam confirmed the detention and said that two separate cases under narcotics and weapons control act.
