1,630 cases filed in capital for traffic law violations

The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,630 cases against traffic law violators in different areas of the capital.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of DMP's Media and Public Relations Division Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed this information on Thursday (March 20) afternoon.
He said that these cases were filed during a drive by the DMP's Traffic Division last Wednesday (March 19). In addition, 223 vehicles were dumped and 90 vehicles were wrecked.

The DMP's Traffic Division's drive to maintain traffic discipline in Dhaka Metropolitan Area will continue.
