Tangail 2 trucks' collision leaves one dead

A truck driver was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between two trucks in Kalihati upazila of Tangail.

The accident occurred around 6 am on Thursday (March 20) in Hatia area of ​​the upazila.
However, the identities of the casualties have not been identified.

Jamuna Bridge East Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Nazim Uddin said that a truck loaded with potatoes from North Bengal was heading towards Dhaka. On the way, a truck loaded with rice from Dhaka and bound for North Bengal reached the spot and the two trucks collided head-on. The driver of the rice-laden truck died on the spot and the driver's assistant was seriously injured. The driver and assistant of the other truck were also injured.

Later, with the help of the fire service, the injured were rescued and sent to Tangail General Hospital.
