Man crushed by train in Madaripur

A 42-year-old man was crushed under the wheels of a train in Madaripur's Shibchar upazila on Wednesday.

The accident took place at Molla Bazar area in the upazila in the evening.
The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam, son of Khorshed Alam, a resident of the same area in the upazila.

According to locals, a Bhanga bound intercity train hit him while he was crossing the railway track, leaving him dead on the spot.

Being informed, a team of police recovered the body, said Bhanga Railway Police Staiton Sub-Inspector Khairul.

He might have committed suicide, he suspected.
