Jashore AL leader arrested at Dhaka airport

An Awami League leader of Jashore district was arrested at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Immigration police arrested him on Sunday night. He was later sent to Jashore court on Monday (March 17).
The arrested is Kabir Uddin Tota, 55, a former chairman of Sharsha Union Parishad in Jashore and Upazila Awami League Youth and Sports Secretary, a resident of Shyamlagachhi village under Sharsha upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sharsha Police Station Rabiul Islam said that there are three cases against him, including sabotage and extortion.
