1,445 cases filed in capital for traffic law violations

The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,445 cases against traffic law violators in different areas of the capital.

DMP's Media and Public Relations Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed this information on Monday (March 17) afternoon.
He said that these cases were filed during a drive by the DMP's Traffic Division last Sunday (March 16). In addition, 222 vehicles were dumped and 71 vehicles were wrecked during the drive.

The DMP's Traffic Division's drive to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka metropolitan area will continue, he added.
