Fire breaks out in Ctg warehouse under control

The fire that broke out at a warehouse of a clothing market in Chattogram has been brought under control after one and a half hours.

The fire incident took place around 7:45 PM on the second floor of a five-story building in the Khaja Market at Teribazar in the city.
Confirming the matter, Deputy Assistant Director of Chattogram Fire Service Mohammad Abdullah said that six units of firefighters from three fire stations went to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 9:00pm.

Terri Bazar Traders Association President Abdul Mannan said that some of the businessmen would suffer huge losses as they stored a lot of goods, including sarees and three-piece, to cash in on the Eid sale in the 15-20 warehouses.
