The online application process for the first year honours courses entry test of 'D'unit under Theology Faculty of Islamic University in Kushtia began Sunday.
A press release, signed by IU acting registrar Professor Dr Manjurul Haque, was issued in this regard in the afternoon.
The admission test for the four departments, Al-Quran and Islamic Studies, Da’wah and Islamic Studies, Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department under Theology and Islamic Studies faculty and Arabic Language and Literature department under Arts faculty, will be held under the unit.
Students who appeared in the SSC examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022 and HSC examination in 2023 or 2024 can apply for the admission test to be held from March 16 to March 28.
Applicants can apply at University’s official website http://www.iu.ac.bd/admission paying Tk. 1500 through mobile/online banking (Bkash/Rocket/Nagad).
The 80 marks admission test will be held on May 11, where all the applicants can sit for the exam. For each incorrect answer 0.25 mark will be deducted, says the notice.
However, the notice also calls for application from the International Students according to the Foreign Students Admission Ordinance.
Admission test results and further procedures will be published on IU’s official website later, the release said.
