Tamanna Sharmin, wife of the wanted Sajjad Hossain alias Chhota Sajjad, threatened retaliation and promised to secure her husband's release in a video that has gone viral on social media after his arrest in Chattogram.
In the video, Tamanna Sharmin is heard saying that they would leave bundles and bundles of money to bring her husband back and that those responsible for the incident would not be spared.
In the video, she also mentioned that Sajjad, who is accused in 17 cases, will be released on bail within 10 to 12 days.
She added, "My husband was arrested last night (Saturday), there is no need to be disappointed. Those who think he will never be released, I offer them a bucket of condolenses." Threatening her opponents, she said, "We were on run until now, but it is our turn. The game is about to begin."

Sajjad was arrested by Tejgaon Police at around 10 PM on Saturday while he was roaming around a Basundhara City Shopping Complex in Dhaka.
Earlier, on January 30, Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner, Hasib Aziz, had announced a reward for his capture. The day before, Sajjad had threatened Bayezid Bostami police station officer-in-charge (OC) Arifur Rahman in a Facebook live.
CMP (North) Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Jahangir Alam said that everyone must be cautious to ensure that this dangerous criminal does not get released easily.
After his arrest, police filed a remand application for Sajjad in a case with Chandgaon police station and the court granted a seven-day remand. Applications for remands in the other cases will be filed gradually, added Jahangir Alam.
