A Chattogram court placed wanted Sajjad Hossain alias Chhota Sajjad on a seven-day remand in a murder case.
Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Bakar Siddique passed the order on Sunday noon.
According to the case documents and court sources, Sajjad Bahini was involved in the shooting death of local businessman Aftab Uddin Tahsin, 27, in front of a tea stall at Adurpara Jagorani Sangha Club under Chandgaon area on October 21, 2024.
Following the incident, Tahsin's father filed the case with Chandgaon Police Station in which Sajjad Hossain alias Chhota Sajjad was made the main accused.
A 14-day remand was sought for Chhota Sajjad in the murder case filed with Chandgaon Police Station.
After the hearing, the court granted a seven-day remand.

Police arrested Chhota Sajjad from Bashundhara Shopping Complex in Dhaka early Sunday.
