Dengue: 10 new cases reported in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, ten new dengue cases have been reported, bringing the total number of cases in 2025 to 1,706, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The new cases were distributed as follows:
- Six cases in Chattogram division (outside Chattogram City)
- Three cases in Dhaka North City Corporation
- One case in Dhaka South City Corporation

There have been no new fatalities reported, keeping the death toll at 13.

Currently, 88 dengue patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.

For comparison, in 2024, dengue resulted in 575 deaths, with 101,214 cases and 100,040 recoveries.
