Riding on a lone goal of striker Muhammad Nazim Uddin, Arambagh Krira Sangha registered a 1-0 win over Little Friends Club in the ongoing Bangladesh Championship League 2024-25 on Thursday at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur. Nazim netted the match winning goal in the 25th minute of the match.
Dhaka Rangers Football Club and BRTC Sports Club suffered a 1-1 draw at the Bashundhara Kings Arena Practice Ground in Dhaka.
The first half of the match was uneventful. Both the goals were scored in the second half. Dhaka Rangers Football Club went ahead when its scorer M Al Amin Rahman found the net in the 69th minute. But the lead sustained for 14 minutes only.
Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation Sports Club, in short BRTC Sports Club, levelled with a goal by Rubiyeat Hossain in the 83rd minute. The margin could be extended, but none of the teams left any chances for the opponents to do so and the match finally ended 1-1.
In the other match on the Fortis Sports Ground in Purbachal, PWD Sports Club and City Club played goalless draw.
The next matches of the BCL will be played on Sunday.
