Listed extortionist held with arms in Dhaka

DHAKA, Mar 12: Police in a drive arrested an alleged extortionist along with a revolver from Dhaka's Paltan area on Tuesday.

The arrestee was identified as Nuruzzaman Biplab, 44.

During a press briefing on Wednesday, Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner of police, a team of police with the help of local people arrested Biplab from Shantinagar area.
Police also seized a revolver from his possession.
