The joint forces arrested two individuals along with drugs and arms from Mollakandi area of sadar upazila in Munshiganj early Sunday.
The arrested was identified as Sifat Mollik, 25, and Nasir Sarder, 42, both residents of the same village in the upazila.
A press release, signed by Superintendent of Police (DSB) Mohammad Kamran Hasan, was issued in this regard.
According to the press release, the joint forces including Army and police, acting on a tip off, conducted a drive at the house of Milton Mollik in the area and arrested the duo around 2:00 AM.
The joint forces also recovered 14 ingenious arms, 34 bottles of beer, a motorcycle, 7 mobile phones, 7 bomb like substances, 2 pieces of laptops, and Tk one lakh from the house, the release added.
